Can you elaborate and provide some background context? Are you writing a dedicated storage
application based on SPDK and DPDK? How does this application serve data to its clients
(TCP, UDP, something else)?. Does the NIC you are using support scatter gather and TSO?
Generally speaking, zero copy (defined as one DMA from disk to host memory and then
another DMA from host memory to the NIC) is possible given the right hardware.
